Board of Directors

Board members serve three-year terms and may serve no more than two consecutive terms. Terms begin in September at the Annual Board Meeting. Board meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of every other month starting in September.

 

Board members are asked to actively participate at Gillis. Some choose to serve on one of the following Board Committees: Communications, Fundraising, Gillis Golf Classic Golf, Kansas City Spirit Awards, Resource Development or other short term task forces while some board members choose to volunteer directly with our children in the school or in the residential cottages.

Students in Gillis Day Treatment School have an opportunity to experience success in a classroom setting. Because of behavioral and/or emotional disorders children attending our school are challenged by a traditional classroom setting. Read More.
